Call for Presentations - Best of Regions Competition

“Partnering with Business for Student Success”

“Partnering with Business for Student Success” is the theme of the ACBSP 2015 Annual Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 12-15, 2015. This is also the theme for our regional meeting, which is being held on October 15-17, 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri and hosted by the Park University School of Business.

 “Best of the Regions”

We invite you to respond to this Call for Presentations for our region in anticipation that your presentation may be selected to be given at the regional conference. All presentations given at the ACBSP Region 5 conference will be evaluated by the region’s officers, and one will be selected for presentation at the 2015 ACBSP Annual Conference as a “Best of the Regions” presentation.

The most outstanding presentation in Kansas City will be named "Best of Region 5" and forward to the 2015 ACBSP Conference in Philadelphia.

ACBSP Student Showcase

The ACBSP Student Showcase began in 2012 in Region 3 and has been expanded to include all ACBSP Regions. Students are invited to submit an application to give a presentation based on the conference theme at their regional conference. One student presentation from each participating region will be selected to represent their school’s region.

The most outstanding student showcase presentation will be forwarded to ACBSP Member Services Manager Andrea Vertz. The Annual Conference Committee will then review the submissions and choose one presentation to be given at the ACBSP Student Showcase at the Annual Conference. All submissions will be evaluated using a standardized rubric.

The top submissions from the student showcase category and the faculty category will be invited to present in Kansas City on October 17th.  You will be responsible for your own transportation and accommodations, but you will receive a 50% discount on the Kansas City Conference Registration ($50).
